Condolence From: Dixie Hansen
Condolence: John was great member of his community and his church. He will surely be missed by all who know him, that includes myself. I remember he would often smile and ask how I was doing when I was leaving the church, I would then asking how he was doing and he would never give negative answer and sometimes joke about health in general. I appreciated his encouragement, prayers, and his friendship. Prayers to his wife Louise, and his whole family. Sincerely; Dixie Hansen

Condolence: I have so many fond memories of high school days when John would take us girls to Cedar Falls roller skating & stay and skate with us to make sure we would be OK. It will be a lesser community with him gone, he gave so much. Thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. God bless.

Condolence: We are so sorry to hear of John's passing. John gave so much of himself in helping other people. John and his brother Ray were so kind to my parents while renting their farm land. I will never forget what John did for them. This meant a great deal to me. God be with you. Sharon and Tom Ciesielski.

Condolence From: Staci (Bowers) Johnson
Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the entire Temeyer family. I have so many found memories of John. He taught me the truth about God with classes, prayers, his involvement in church and family. I remember so many Wednesday nights and other outings out on the farm for church. One of his teaching that inspired my life was "finding Gods beauty in everything". I still try to find it everyday. He truly was the epitome of "one of God's great men". He will truly be missed.

Condolence: I'm so very sorry for your loss. I'm sure your loved one will be dearly missed. But please know that God is always there when we need him. At Revelation 21:4 God promises to wipe out every tear from their eyes and even death will be no more. I hope that verse brings you and your family some much needed comfort.

Condolence: What can I say about Uncle John that couldn't be said for any of the Temeyer men... they are truly some of the greatest men in the world. Those who have had the pleasure of knowing them, and even greater pleasure of being able to call them family, are truly blessed. One thing that always stands out in my mind is that I never heard them raise their voice. Not saying they didn't, but I never heard it. Uncle John used to tell me funny jokes all the time. Took me with him many times to take pigs to the market. Always enjoyed my time on his farm. He was loved, he will be missed... by so many.

Condolence From: Laurie Palmer
Condolence: John and Louise would pick me and my sister Jenni Hansel up Sunday morning, take us for breakfast, then off to church we would all go. After services, we would go to their farm where we were taught to play piano. Weill I tried learning, my sister would play with Kristan, as they were the same age. The Teymeyers have been a memory that our family has shared throughout the years and is one of our many blessings. Heaven has received a new angel. Love, Laurie Palmer (Hansel)
