Aaron Richard Postel, the two month old son of Adam and Aleah (Meyers) Postel died Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Buchanan County Health Center in Independence, Iowa. Aaron was born on August 4, 2014 in Waterloo, Iowa

Surviving besides his parents is a sister Addyson Thimmesch at home, his maternal grandparents John and Shelli Meyer, Independence, IA, paternal grandmother; Kathy Postel, Independence, IA, great grandparents; Karen Omari, Omaha, NE, Glenn Harris, Manchester, IA, Leon and Sandra Meyer, Independence, IA, Jean Postel, Independence, IA, Junior and Marcie McCardle, Independence, IA,

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; Richard Postel and great grandparents Francis Harris and Billy and Lil Postel.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Independence with Rev. Don Plamondon, officiating. Burial will be in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Thursday at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, Iowa.
