Condolence: Kathy,
Your mother was such a nice lady to be around. Even though I did not teach with her she always had a welcoming smile when we would come for teacher meetings. All our children had her as a teacher and really enjoyed her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Shawn.

Condolence: Dear Kathy
It is with sadness we learned of your Mother's passing. Our days of knowing your parents date back to the 1960's in Woodward. Your father and I spent many hours doing fun things in addition to our teaching duties. When we left Woodward we missed your folks. One of my wife's many memories was the time Gene and I made apple cider. We stored some in our basement and unknowingly to my wife it fermented. One day she remembered it was downstairs and by the time she finished drinking some she was tipsy. We laugh about this often. Your folks were fun people to know and be around. I have too many stories for this space. You have our sincere sympathy.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Your mom and dad were wonderful neighbors. Whether riding bikes by giving a wave or stopping by for chicken chores, always a wonderful couple to see! After your dad passed, your mom and I shared some wonderful conversations. May you find peace in the days ahead she is not suffering and now reunited with that jokester dad of yours :) God Bless.

Condolence: Your mom and dad were both special people - super kind, well read, fun to be around, and eager to put others at ease. I loved visiting with your mom at P.E.O. meetings. We shared a love for teaching, reading, and our families. I suspect both your parents, their jobs on earth now done, are finally able to "rest in peace."

Condolence From: Carol Lindblom Fejfar
Condolence: Enid and I started kindergarten together in Anita, IA. We were still friends when we graduated in 1953. Since Enid's father had a car dealership we "volunteered" her to drive to Omaha for our senior skip day. Enid was very involved with genealogy before I became addicted and she was always willing to help with the internet sites. She has been a great friend and I will miss her.
Hoping to attend her memorial service Tuesday, Kathy.
In Sympathy,
Carol Lindblom Fejfar

Condolence: Enid and I were classmates at Anita high school, graduating in 1953. We were good friends and enjoyed many activities in HS, especially musical activities.
We both attended Drake University after graduation where we enjoyed great friendship and many fun times. She went with me and my family on a trip to northern Minnesota and had so much much fun. She was a great person. When I last saw her she showed me a scrapbook she had kept of our friendship of college times and our trips; I was so touched she had kept it all those years. We have kept in touch by letters every year. She was a really good friend,
My prayers are with you at this time, and know that God has gained a great soul.
