Thadius Dean Warnke, 20, of Independence, Iowa died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his home in Independence.

Thadius was born on January 30, 1997 in Waterloo, Iowa. He was a 2017 graduate of the Independence Community Schools and was employed with Tyson’s Foods in Independence, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing, gaming, and hanging with his friends.

He is survived by his mother, Janet Warnke, Independence, IA, his father Steve Warnke, Maynard, IA, a sister; Hope Warnke, Independence, IA a son; Orion Warnke, Independence, a special friend; Katelyn Alston, and his paternal grandmother; Marjorie Warnke, Maynard, IA, and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Raymond Warnke, and maternal grandparents Jan and Bill Holsman.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
