Obituary for Anna Marie Lynch

Anna Marie  Lynch
Anna Marie Lynch, 25, of Independence, IA died Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Buchanan County Health Center in Independence, IA.

She was born on August 28, 1992 in Seoul, Korea, and she came home at the age of 7 months to her adoptive parents Pamela J. Bergmann and John Lynch. She was raised in Rowley, IA and was a 2010 graduate of Independence High School. After graduating she moved to Independence, IA where she worked for Goodwill Industries; she also attended Darrell Davis Day Center in Independence activities.

Anna enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality and engaging smile. She loved spending time with friends and family; going shopping, doing crafts, swimming, eating out, and walking. She also loved to play with her moms beagles.

She is survived by her mother Pamela J. (Steve) Bergmann-Knebel, Jesup, IA, father Hugh John Lynch, Hawkeye, IA, her four brothers; Bobby Lynch, Dubuque, IA, Bryan Knebel, Waterloo, IA, Charlie Grove, Evansdale, IA, Eric Grove, Evansdale, IA, her three sisters; Brenna (Brad) Eldeen, Iowa City, IA, Cassie Lynch, Cedar Rapids, IA, Lindsey (Jake) Jarvis, Wichita, KS, six nieces and nephews, grandmother Kay Knebel, Elk Run Heights, IA and special friend Zech Close, Independence, IA.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Hugh J. and Marcella Lynch, Robert and Betty Bergmann, and Loras “Lug” Knebel.

A special thanks to B&D Services and their staff for providing outstanding care and support for Anna and her family. Thanks also to the Darrel Davis Day Center and Goodwill Industries staff for providing her with their support and their positive environments. She will be missed by many.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday August, 3, 2018 at the Hope Wesleyan Church Independence, Iowa, with Rev. Robert Solon officiating. Burial will be held at Rowley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday August 2, 2018 at Reiff Family Center Independence, Iowa

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Anna Lynch Memorial Fund.
