I was sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I used to live across the road from the family. Marilyn and I had some good times.
Joe was always smiling and knew me - even when I had been away for years. I saw him at the Train Depot in Independence a few years ago and approached him. He looked at me for a few seconds and then said "OH PATTY". That just delighted me.
