Cindy L. Jackson, 61, of Independence, Iowa died Monday, March 30, 2015 at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa.

Cindy was born on June 16, 1953 in Lisbon, North Dakota the daughter of Bernard and Evelyn (Toyne) Anderson. She graduated from the Verona High School in Verona, ND. She lived in Englevale and Jamestown, ND until moving to Colorado then to Oelwein, Iowa prior to moving to Independence in 2002. She was married to Thomas A. Jackson on September 28, 2002 in the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa. Cindy was employed with McDonald’s Restaurant in Independence, Iowa

She is survived by her husband, Tom, two children; Amber (Jay) Bantz, Fairbank, IA, and Steven Barta, Calmar, IA, five grandchildren, three sisters; Grace Savet, Fargo, ND, Mickey Buis, Tulsa, OK, and Lori Schwab, Englevale, ND, and Five brothers; Wilfred Anderson, Lisbon, ND, Pat Anderson, Englevale, ND, Jim Anderson, Fargo, ND, Tom Anderson, Lisbon, ND, and Donald Anderson, Lisbon, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Mary Reinke.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, IA, with Rev. Scott Meador, officiating. Friends may call from 9 Am till services Thursday at the funeral home.
