Condolence: I was shocked to hear of Vernie's passing. He always shared God's love and caring with everyone he came in contact with. He gave of himself without expecting even a thank you. He will be solely missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Condolence: I will be forever grateful to Vernie who gave me work at Cashway when I first left home then helped me get hired at KOUR. He was like a father to me with advice and guidance to keep me on the right track. But that was Vernie - always there with his world class smile to help those in need. He leaves a wonderful legacy and will surely be missed every day by so many whose lives he touched. Rest in peace Vernie and my deepest sympathy to those you leave behind.

Condolence: We sure loved Vernie! He found us our home on the river, he was just as excited about it as we were! Such a kind and friendly man, he even placed a bid for me at a few auctions, we will miss him greatly!! Heaven has a real gem!
