Obituary for Maynard Keith Franck
Maynard K. Franck, 72, of Woodward, Iowa and formerly of the Quasqueton, Iowa area died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Woodward State Resource Center in Woodward, Iowa.
Maynard was born on April 22, 1945 in Independence, Iowa the son of Robert J. and Jennie M. (Oldridge) Franck, following his education he moved to Woodward, Iowa. He loved spending time with his family, and was happiest when he kept busy. He enjoyed all sorts of animals and loved the enthusiasm of small children.
He is survived by three sisters; Ramone (Allen) Peterson, LaPorte City, IA., Zelda (Joe) Andersen, Independence, IA, Loretta (Kenneth) Wright, Walker, IA.; and one brother; Robert (Elsie) Franck, Cave City, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews.
Maynard was preceded in death by his parents, seven sisters; Audrey Cook, Ellen Harris, Ina Mae Eschen, Marita Wilder, Janice Franck, Lanora Franck, and Letticia Franck; and two brothers; Merwin and Eugene Franck.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, Iowa where friends may call from 9AM to services. Burial will be in the Quasqueton Cemetery, Quasqueton, Iowa.
