Mary Ann Hansen, 65, of Jesup, IA died Tuesday June 13, 2017 at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, IA.

Mary was born August 27, 1951, in Walker, IA, the daughter of Gerald W. and Gladys R. (Hilmer) Main. She graduated from Independence High School in 1970, and later studied floral design at Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, IA. For many years she worked as a cook and server at Kabods, Jesup, IA, and the R & R café, Independence, IA. She enjoyed her work and talking with customers.

Mary is survived by her daughter Rhonda Ogden, Jesup, IA, a granddaughter Bailey Ogden, Jesup, IA, three brothers Robert Main, Newton, IA, Charles Main, Springfield, TN, and Jerry Main, Independence, IA, a sister Jan Bradley, Jesup, IA, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Becky Hansen, and a sister Ruth Hansen.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 24, 2017 at 11 AM in Backbone State Park.
