Obituary for Dwayne Anthony Weber

Dwayne A. Weber, 55, of Independence, IA died on Saturday December 3, 2017 at ABCM Rehabilitation Center West Campus in Independence, IA following a long illness.

Dwayne was born May 19, 1962 the son of Wayne Weber and Sandra Sattizahn Weber. He was a graduate of Independence High School. He married Roxanne Lillibridge in 1982, they had a son, Kevin, in 1982 (who passed away), and they later divorced. He spent several years working at the Mental Health Institute in Independence, IA before joining the U.S. Navy. He served proudly for 13 years before returning back to Independence. For over 18 years, he worked for Merfeld Trucking and Viessman Trucking as a truck driver.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, antique shopping and photography. He collected N scale trains, and loved watching movies.

Dwayne is survived by his mother and step-father Sandra and Mike Smock, Independence, IA, father Wayne Weber Quasqueton, IA, two sisters Christine (Curtis) Hamm, Rincon, GA and Deborah (Kevin) Schuster, Manchester, IA, a brother Curtis (Jaci) Weber, Independence, IA, three step-sisters, Sherene Brown, Gilbertville, IA, Teresa Spencer, Chandler, AZ and Michele Dennis, Chandler, AZ, many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog companion Newt.

He is proceeded in death by his son, Kevin Anthony Weber.

A private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
