Larry Lee "Scotty, Red"  Regenold
Larry L. “Scotty, “Red,” Regenold, 72, died Monday December 18, 2017 at his home in Independence, IA.

Larry was born December 19, 1944, in Oelwein, IA the son of Louis C and Effie Mae (Watkins) Regenold. He was a 1963 graduate of North High School in West Union, IA, and later went onto Hawkeye Tech in Waterloo, IA to study Machining. On October 31, 1963 Larry enlisted into the US. Army and served proudly until his discharge. After his time in the service he spent several years in Rockford, IL working in manufacturing for Chrysler. He lived throughout the United States as a long haul trucker, and spent the last years of his life in Independence, IA driving for Merfeld Transport.

He is survived by three sisters; Betty (Marvin) Heath, Otho, IA, Lois Kay (Bill) Rugger, Coralville, IA, and Marsha May (Bob) Busch Kansas City, MO, a brother Dean (Susan) Regenold, Claremore, OK, and many nieces, and Nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday December 22, 2017 from 4 PM until 6 PM, held in the Community Room of the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory in Independence, IA
