Obituary for Dianne Lynn Miller
– Dianne L. Miller, 63, of Jesup, IA died Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, IA.
Dianne was born on July 2, 1955 in Oelwein, IA the daughter of James W. and Charlet A. (Larson) Miller. In the summer of 1960, she and her family moved to an acreage in rural Jesup, IA. She was a 1973 graduate of Jesup High School and later received a Dietary Aide Certificate from Hawkeye Tech in Waterloo, IA. For many years she worked at the Mental Health Institute in Independence, IA as a Psychiatric Aide. She later worked for the Affina Company in Waterloo, IA until her retirement in 2012.
She enjoyed spending time on her family acreage with family and friends. She would often be found busy crocheting and listening to music. She adored and often thought about her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She always put her family first and loved each of them with all her heart.
Dianne is survived by her daughter, Dana Miller, Jesup, IA, her son, Daniel (Brittani) Miller, Jesup, IA, two grandchildren, Kylie and Boone Miller, Jesup, IA. A sister, Patricia (Richard) Reuter, Jesup, IA, a brother Michael (Denise) Miller, Littleton, IA, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Charlet Miller, a sister Jolene R. Parker, and a niece Nicole Taylor.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 PM until 4 PM on Sunday April 7, 2019 at the Hookanliner in Littleton, IA.
