Dawn and I were good friends back in grade school/early junior high. We reconnected on Facebook a couple of years ago and we got to know a little bit about how each of our lives have been - about our kids, grand kids, the roads we've traveled, sorrows and joys. We planned on getting together the next time I made it back to Iowa, and it breaks my heart that she's gone before we could make that happen. My condolences to her family and loved ones. You all meant the world to her.

This was a shock to me. I used pick her up when we worked at Burger King together. We had so many laughs and had a great time. Life is short. R.I.P Dawn. Love you always
