Larissa D. (Stacey) Bromley, 37, of Van Horne, IA died on June 8, 2019 at her home in rural Van Horne, IA, after a long battle with cancer.
Larissa was born on November 10, 1981 in Independence, IA the daughter of Jeffery A. and Donna L. (Stacey) Cornwell. She was a 2002 graduate of Union High School in La Porte City, IA, and made her home in Oelwein, IA. She worked for several years for the Burger King in Independence, and Ashely Molding in Oelwein. In 2014 she moved to Waterloo, IA and started working for Omega Cabinets. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and moved home with her parents to spend more time with the ones she loved.
She enjoyed the outdoors and spent many weekends camping with her family and friends.
Larissa is survived by her parents, Jeffery and Donna Cornwell, her siblings; Joshua Cornwell, Cedar Falls, IA, Myles Cornwell, West Union, IA, and Tamara Gettings, Oelwein, IA, a nephew, five nieces, many Aunts and Uncles, and many cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday June 15, 2019 at the Calvary Evangelistic Center in Independence, IA with Rev. James Ganze officiating. Visitation will be held on from 9 AM until the funeral service on Saturday at the Calvary Evangelistic Center.
