I will be forever grateful to Vernie who gave me work at Cashway when I first left home then helped me get hired at KOUR. He was like a father to me with advice and guidance to keep me on the right track. But that was Vernie - always there with his world class smile to help those in need. He leaves a wonderful legacy and will surely be missed every day by so many whose lives he touched. Rest in peace Vernie and my deepest sympathy to those you leave behind.
