Hank was the first to show up at my house. We moved to Hawkeye in1949 . Our house was just north of where Hank lived with his mother,Nellie and his brother Johnnie. There were four of us, Hank,Jake,Charlie and me. We played in Brick Hill, Johnsons creek and anywhere else there was enough mud to drag home to complaining mothers and grandmothers.. We pretty much stuck together thru school and have remained friends for all these. Years. R.I.P. Hank Ed
