Mary Louise Linsley, 76, of Independence, Iowa died Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Buchanan County Health Center in Independence, IA.

Mary was born on March 8, 1937, in Independence, Iowa the daughter of Ralph H. and Nettie E. (Prindle) Cashen. She attended the St. John’s Catholic Schools. She enjoyed flower gardening.

She is survived by two children; Marilyn A. Summers, Independence and John Cashen, Independence, IA., nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, and a brother Malachi Cashen, Rowley, IA, and very special friend John Raydoe, Independence, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Melvin Linsley, and a brother Donald Cashen.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at the Byron Township Cemetery. The Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, Iowa is assisting the family with the arrangements.
