I wanted to extend my sincere sympathy to the family on the loss of Mr. Darland. Losing a loved one can easily cause questions to arise in our minds about why bad things happen, but I have found encouragement in Jesus' expression at John 11:23, and Martha's faithful reply in verse 24, which show that God will one day relieve the pain in our hearts.
