Many years ago I was at my first Anamosa Hill Climb after I got my Harley and was checking out the vendors. I walked by a pick-up truck with used motorcycle parts on the tail gate and lying on the ground around it. There was a guy with long hair and a beard sitting in a lawn chair in the back of the truck that said "Hi Dawn"! I hadn't seen Jerry since we graduated and didn't recognize him at first. It was as if we had just seen each other the week before! He was the same kind and friendly guy that I knew from high school. I have had the pleasure of running into him off and on in the years since then and he was always the same. I will miss that, he was a good guy.
